Nadia von Jacobi is a multilingual singer-songwriter. Italian-German, born and raised in Germany, at sixteen she moved to Italy on her own after receiving a scholarship. Two years earlier, she had begun playing guitar and writing her first songs. In the years that followed, she lived and travelled across Portugal, South America, the Galápagos Islands, Mongolia and Azerbaijan — experiences that deeply shaped her songwriting. Inspired by travel, nature and the invisible connections between people and places, her songs transform intimate experiences into sonic landscapes that linger.
Nadia built her artistic identity through live performance, playing across London, Vienna and Italy. In Florence, she caught the attention of Ernesto De Pascale and, later, Mescal.
With the collective Nadia & the Rabbits, she released Noblesse Oblique, an album created between Vienna, Milan, Modena’s historic Esagono studio and Kingsway Studio in New Orleans. Dozens of musicians from different countries contributed to the record, each adding a piece to its sonic mosaic. At the invitation of Biagio Antonacci, Nadia wrote a German version of “Se io se lei” and performed it before a crowd of 30,000 at San Siro.
For a time, she stepped away from the stage, continuing to travel in search of new parts of herself while focusing more deeply on writing new material and increasingly composing in Italian. Today, she returns with a solo project that opens a new chapter, bringing singer-songwriter craft and analogue instrumentation together with contemporary pop production, while preserving the distinctive perspective that has always run through her songs.
